Celebrating!

Hello dear readers!

For me, April 30 is a date worth celebrating. No, it’s not my birthday.

Two years ago today, I ended active treatment for breast cancer with my last radiation treatment.

To commemorate that event, one year ago today I launched this blog, not sure what I was getting myself into!

The outpouring of love from you, dear readers, has been amazing. I’ve shared thoughts on many topics, reviewed books, gave shout-outs to people making a difference, and even had a friend write a guest post. I’ve had works published, made a guest appearance on a podcast, and all while posting each week. The new friends I’ve made along the way have been amazing. Some are fellow survivors, others are working in various ways to make this road a bit less difficult to travel.

Anniversaries are not only a good time to look back at what has been accomplished, but also to ponder what comes next. The view looks different the farther I travel on this road. I plan to keep writing, but I may end up posting a bit less frequently as I explore other ways that I can make a difference.

Thank you for being alongside me on this ride!

Please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
