Looking past the numbers, I hope my stories have touched lives. More importantly, I hope my stories have encouraged others to share their own stories, to reach out a helping hand, or to reach out for a helping hand.
Two years ago writing a blog wasn’t even on my radar — then again, neither was a new occurrence of breast cancer. A year ago this blog was just an idea rolling around in the back of my head. Six months ago, Blog For the Girls launched — one year to the day after completing active treatment.
Looking back, I am one and a half years out from active treatment with No Evidence of Disease (abbreviated NED), just under two years out from embarking on this path of a new cancer diagnosis, and almost twenty-four years out from my initial diagnosis.
What happens now? Do I continue on, posting every week? I still have so much to say, have many more books to review, and plenty of people to profile who are making a difference.
By the grace of God, I’ll keep on keepin’ on and see where it leads!
Thank you, dear readers, for walking along with me!
