Welcome to For the Girls!

Late in 2020, for most people, the big “C” was COVID, but for me it was CANCER. I had been diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time in my life.  

A friend was encouraging me to write about my experiences. I cynically asked if the world really needed yet another breast cancer blog or book. Not necessarily, was the response, but there just might be one person out there who needed to hear what I have to say. My job would just be to write. I’m trusting God that my words will be an encouragement to someone.

So who are the Girls?

Our mothers,
Our daughters,
Our aunties,
Our nieces,
Our friends,
including the ones we haven’t yet met,
and, since we are talking about breast cancer,
…well, you know, The Girls!
